Greetings and Salutations,
Today I present to you a song that I myself have played: the magnificent Aria Di Chiesa, written by Alessandro Stradella a long long time ago back in what we music nerds call the Baroque Period of music. The version I am giving to you is a musical arrangement minus the vocals, which if you wish to find are quite easy to discover on YouTube. The reason they include the word aria after removing the singing is because for one it is a part of the original name of the song, and two it gives you a big clue to what type of song it will be. There are a couple different types of arias, one of them being the aria in a minor key, which is always the type of song that is low, saddening, for example I have lists of arias in a minor key that take place in an opera directly after betrayal, death of a loved one, heartbreak, and more. Today I give to you my saddest song, please tell me how it makes you feel, because everybody goes through different circumstances and that predisposes them to be affected by different things.
Tom Bombadil Memorizer has done it again, using words when nobody else does and nobody else is paying attention seems to be his/her strong point, and even though s/he posted it outside of the blog which I would prefer not to happen though nobody else reads this so I suppose it's fine, she wins by using this phrase and going above and beyond the requirements: "It's actually quite simple: everyone decided to remain quiescent last week." Congratulations on your commentification skills and word using powers, and now I challenge you to use this next word:
Palliate
~alleviate without removing the problem

Internetiquette
Greetings and Salutations,
Here are the rules:
Rule 1 ~~~ Never use verbal abuse... ever.
Rule 2 ~~~ Calmly and passively tell someone "you know there is a better way to do 'X'" or "you know, I thought that you weren't supposed to do 'X'" or even "please don't do 'X'" and always follow these up with a 'because...' statement to provide a reason.
Rule 3 ~~~ Protect your friends, do your part, that is all.
Rule 4 ~~~ Take criticism and teaching and act on it.
Rule 5 ~~~ Don't be a noob, kill noobs if you get a chance, and protect newbs as you would your own friends/clan/guild etc.
Rule 6 ~~~ Don't be a troll. In anything, video games, chat rooms, forums, any medium for conversation, don't be a troll. Nobody loves you if you are a troll.
Rule 7 ~~~ Don't fight a troll, answer a troll once with a clearly defined thought pattern for why you believe what you do or sufficient proof, kindly, to the contrary, and if they still fight back then they truly are a troll, ignore them. Totally ignore them. The moderators will take care of them or they will get bored. if you show that you are annoyed at them then they will never stop and yo will have defeated yourself.
Rule 8 ~~~ If it hurts anything, physically, emotionally, psychologically, socially, and spiritually... and any other thing that ends in ~ly that sounds right for this, then it should not be done.
Rule 9 ~~~ Once is usually enough, twice is making a point, thrice is proving it, the fourth time? nobody cares, seriously.
Rule 10 ~~~ Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
Rule 11 ~~~ If you are not at least a partially mature patient individual who is not out to be a jerk, leave. Leave now, and never come back.
Rule 2 ~~~ Calmly and passively tell someone "you know there is a better way to do 'X'" or "you know, I thought that you weren't supposed to do 'X'" or even "please don't do 'X'" and always follow these up with a 'because...' statement to provide a reason.

As I said in my last Wednesday post, I will give you the special rule derived from what would have been the "General Failing" post. This rule is a rule set in every set of rules, no matter how long the list is and how detailed it is. This rule I like to call Rule 0, though it is different from the Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) Dungeon Master (DM) Rule 0, which states that the DM is always right. Rule 0 states that to every rule, there is an exception to that rule, and thus this is where Rule 11 really comes into play, because you have to use a lot of maturity to be able to use Rule 0. Sadly, not many people follow rule 11, which is all the more the pity. The last thing I can say before I finish this topic once and for all is that it is impossible to truly set a group of rules for the internet, because the beauty of the internet, and simultaneously its downfall, is that it has no rules and is ruled by no person, corporation, or governing entity.
And with that, I close. Thanks as usual for listening or not, comment if you desire, or not. If I missed any of the rules, please notify me and I'll try to find it again. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment or email us at our Email address. If you want to make accusations or have any general complaints or see any errors, whether small grammatical errors or large continuity ones, please feel free to let me know.

Now Bleed With Me....
Greetings and Salutations,
Today's video is the Freedom theme from Braveheart, directed by Mel Gibson and music written by James Horner. During the movie, this song plays during the execution of the star of the show, William Wallace, who gives up his life saving Scotland, for the freedom of his people. Immediately afterwards is the finale of the movie, as the Scottish regain their freedom in Wallace's name. It heavily features the bagpipes, as they are Scottish in origin. Here's the movie and please tell me what particular emotion this song evokes in you, how good you think it is, and perhaps any other tidbits of information your brain produces.
I received no word usages over the past interval of time, fail. It was an easy word too, for example: Today I had a quiescent day. This week's word will be easier then:
Simple
~Easy, not difficult
Don't forget to comment below and rate the word and or video, and I shall see you next Wednesday.

A Deviation From Our Current Trajectory
Greetings and Salutatory Statements to one and all,
As my little wordy hint above in blue can show you, I will be changing my plans slightly. Looking back and pondering on the topics for today and next Wednesday post, I have noticed some discrepancies. After racking my brain in search of some way to make general failing relevant, which for the most part it isn't, I have come to the conclusion that only one rule can be drawn from it, and it in itself is very much a special case. In addition, looking at the case of the picture post which would have been today, I have come to the conclusion that a rule can be derived from it, but it would be too similar to rule 8 as it would say that if it scars someone then it should not be online, or if it is racist, etc. ~if it hurts anything, physically, emotionally, psychologically, socially, and spiritually... and any other thing that ends in -ly that sounds right for this, then it should not be done~. So basically there would be no positive necessity to posting these next few days. And then it occurred to me that you still deserved a post, especially after the lack of posts these past few weeks, but believe me, rule numero uno of writing anything is to not write about something that you are disinterested in, and I must apologize that for the past two Wednesday posts my interest has been waning. This is something important, and a list of good rules should exist online, but after however many posts, there should be a point where either someone else steps in to take up the mantle or it is put on hold for a while, and I confess that I am unable to come up with any new rules as of now. Thus, to spare you the misery of reading terrible writing I am stopping this line of posts immediately....
And starting another! Until I can come up with a theme, of course please feel free to email me any suggestions, but today I write about having your own domain, a nerd cave of sorts. Anyways, many times people will make a sort of "shrine" to their favorite topic or occupation. It becomes a matter of pride to the people, even if it is just having better items than others. Let me give you some examples of some shrines, in visual aid form:

Anyways, many times people will make a sort of "shrine" to their favorite topic or occupation. It becomes a matter of pride to the people, even if it is just having better items than others. Let me give you some examples of some shrines, in visual aid form:
For if you are unable to tell from the smallish pictures, from top left to bottom right you have the video game nerds dream: The largest known collection of video games ever, a beautifully handmade steampunk computer desk, a man cave complete with display cases full of collectible sports cards, and a hand modified Nintendo Entertainment System. Almost everybody has some collection or favorite item that they are proud of and more than happy to show off or perhaps even be miserly and hide it away. I myself have a rather large collection of games and consoles, as well as musical instruments, and not surprisingly that is what I do. Many times the people who collect baseball cards are the people who used to play or still play a lot of baseball, almost all the time the people who get the collections of video games play them regularly, people who love Firefly put little browncoats stickers on the backs of their cars and carry little plastic dinosaurs around, and people who have musical paraphernalia play music. The majority of the time this is reversible as well, for example I play music so I collect instruments, she likes to read so she has a large library she likes to show off, etc.
Write and tell me what kind of things you like and how you like to collect or get the best etc. for what you might enjoy, though it might not apply to some of you. You can even send in pictures and I'll feature them in a post. Don't forget about the word of the mont.....I guess it's supposed to be week isn't it, whoops. And with that, I close. Thanks as usual for listening or not, comment if you desire, or not. Next week I will give you the compiled rules and tell you about the one rule from general failing. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment or email us at our new address. If you want to make accusations or have any general complaints or see any errors, whether small grammatical errors or large continuity ones, please feel free to let me know.
(By the way check out TBCRH, someone just posted on it again, enjoy reading over there!)

A Change of Plans
Greetings and Salutations,
I have decided to adjust how I have been doing these videos, they apparently are not very effective in their current state, and so I shall be doing them in a theme, hopefully more of you readers out there will gain enough courage to commentify below. The new theme for the new series starting today, yes this means that the previous two videos will not be voted on or included in this series, unless you send me videos arguing one way or another or giving me a vote, will be music. By music I don't mean hard rock etc. I mean moving pieces, music that all you have to do is listen to the melody and your soul takes over and you feel without even knowing all of the feelings the composer and/or musicians are feeling. Little warning, many of these songs may be sad, as unfortunately sadness is one of the only emotions which carries through any medium, from music to paintings and even dance. If you have any suggestions for good songs that you think are very emotional, whether positively or negatively, please feel free to post a link in a comment below, or send a link to me in an email.
Today's video is the main theme from the movie Schindler's List, by John Williams. The song is a sad one, and has at its back the story of a German who works with Jews during the holocaust in WWII. The video itself was made by "Stigno89", though the music as said before was composed and directed by John Williams and the violin melody is played by the world famous Itzhak Perlman. Here's the movie and please tell me what particular emotion this song evokes in you, how good you think it is, and perhaps any other tidbits of information your brain produces.
I only received one word usage suggestion for this past week again, so I suppose it is the winner, again, same person. Last week's winner is Tom Bombadil Memorizer with their statement "Unlike many other books I have had to read for school, "A Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens is not at all a soporific work." Congratulations for your commentification, and now for this week's word of the week:
Quiescent
~Quiet, Still, Inactive
Don't forget to comment below and rate the word and or video, I shall unfortunately not be able to post this Wednesday nor this upcoming Saturday due to me being out of town, though if I find a way I will certainly try to post.

1 H4XX0R J00 PH001Z!!!11!!!!1!
Greetings and Salutations,
Today I give you a shorter post, not for lack of information, not for lack of interest, and certainly not for lack of controversy. The term "Hacker" or even the more politically correct one "Cracker" has many controversial views surrounding it, some positive outlooks on it, and there are a very large number of people that fit into both categories. So here's a couple of definitions for the term hacker which give it a controversial name sometimes: someone who hacks friend's computers in a playful sense (like making their computer say happy birthday on it), someone who is incredibly good with technology (like Ajay Bhatt), or someone who hacks computers for personal gain and or to cause mischief. Basically, a hacker is someone who has either really good skill with a computer, or has learned how to compromise the internal security of a computer through various means. We'll go ahead and ignore the first two definitions of hackers because they are socially acceptable and cause no courtesy problems generally.
The main reason I will not be giving as long a post this time, if you haven't figured it out already, is because there is an incredible amount of information in this, and at the same time there truly isn't any secure information that everybody can agree on. In addition, a lot of the things that would have to be brought up are for one, too hard for most standard readers here to understand, two, there is a lot of information that not everybody needs to know, even though you can easily find ways of learning it for free on the web, and three, I really don't want the blog to be hacked. The basic principle of a hacker is finding weaknesses and vulnerabilities in a webpage or computer connection, and then exploiting them so as to either gain information, release viruses, or a multitude of other devious things. Many people think that this can't be bad, even if they are caught shortly, but it still can cause problems. One of my good friends over at D+pad, Joseph B. Elkouby, who I suppose I can hardly call a good friend due to the limited number of correspondences we have shared, though that is beside the point, had his comic hacked several times, and he is still dealing with the people who are doing it. Imagine someone coming into your house and looking at stuff and moving it around, even if they don't take anything, it still gets into your mind and you become afraid even in your own home. This is the same sort of situation, I imagine you know already that I am going to say that you shouldn't do this and make up some special sounding rule to go along with it, but some things are just common sense, don't do it, it's against the law as well.
So all this goes to show that yes it's pretty cool to be able to do this, but don't do anything illegal and don't mess with other people's stuff. This is pretty basic and I'm sure that at one point during your upbringing someone, whether it was your mom, dad, or other form of guardian told you this. Like rule 11 basically states: if you aren't mature and have the standard morals of society, don't use the internet.
And with that, I close. Thanks as usual for listening or not, comment if you desire, or not. The rules are being compiled as it goes and will be ready by the end for the final post. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment or email us at our new address. Press "Start"...... "A" Will Also Do
Greetings and Salutations,
My apologies for not posting recently, I was on restriction, but hopefully I will have no more of those. Random personal update, I have recently gained an automobile and thus have considerably more freedom. Having a car is very nice, if you don't have one you should get one, or get older so you can get one, or get a job so you can get one. On a completely different note, I will be doing the videos not on a six week series as previously stated, but on a six movie series, which will make a little bit more sense.
The video of this week is "Some Awesome Things", by Kladblog showing different actions humans can perform in order to inspire us to do all that we are capable of. The video itself was made by Enola Arvalap Nebork Capepro, or at least that is what the video says, the music is wonderful too. Commentify below if you see someone failing....
I unfortunately only received one word suggestion for this past week, so I suppose it is the winner, though I would like to state that from now on, unless it is either sent to ticnag@gmail.com or as a comment below, it does not count, this is mainly because there are some viewers who cannot see those posts, though if you would like to do that as well, please feel free. Last "week's" winner is Tom Bombadil Memorizer with their statement "That was indubitably a fantastic shot." Congratulations for your commentification, and now for this week's word of the week:
Soporific
~Causing or tending to cause sleep or a dulled awareness
Don't forget to comment below and rate the word and or video, I shall see you shortly, when wednesday comes around again.
